Do you know what the four forces are that influence the flight of a paper airplane? It's okay; in this case, you can check Google or call a lifeline. Give up? Zee Zees has the answers!
The four forces that influence the flight of a paper airplane are thrust, lift, gravity, and drag.
When you use your hands to throw the plane forward into the air, that is called thrust. Lift is the force that helps your aircraft to move up. The larger the wings, the increase in lift. Gravity, of course, is what helps pull the plane back down. Using the right materials can create a lighter airplane, causing it to stay in the air longer. Lastly, drag is the opposite of thrust and helps the plane slow down, which usually occurs in the plane's tail.
